  1. Wash and chop apples into small pieces

  2. Bring a medium/large skillet to a medium heat. Add olive oil (or water).

  3. Add chopped apples to the skillet

  4. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally until soft.

  5. Add ground spices and cook for 1-2 more mins.

  6. Add maple syrup, stir.

  7. Remove from heat and set aside.

Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup quick cook oats (5g protein)

  • 1 cup soy milk (8g protein)

  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice (13g protein) (I use Ka'Chava vanilla)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan over medium/low heat add soy milk, oats and protein powder.

  2. Whisk together until combined.

  3. Next add the ground spices and whisk together.

  4. Turn heat down to low, stirring often.

  5. Cook until liquid is absorbed and you had an oat meal consistency.

  6. Transfer oats to a bowl and top with your apple pie topping. (store leftover apple pie topping in an airtight container in the fridge for quick use later.)

  7. Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon for garnish.
